- Barbara Zegarska, MD, PhD Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology, Allergy Specialist A renowned specialist in dermatology and venereology, as well as an allergist with over 35 years of experience. Professor Barbara Zegarska served as the director of the Provincial Dermatology Clinic in Bydgoszcz for 18 years, and since 2001 has served as the head of the Department of Cosmetology and Aesthetic Dermatology at the Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She is also a provincial consultant for dermatology and venereology for the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, a member of the Executive Board of the Polish Dermatological Society (PTD), the chairwoman of the Bydgoszcz Branch of the PTD, and the vice-chairwoman of the PTD's Aesthetic Dermatology Section. She is a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and the Association of Aesthetic Dermatologists. For over 14 years, she has been involved in rejuvenation treatments, medical and cosmetic cosmetology. Her main research areas include skin aging, anti-aging products, acne vulgaris, and rosacea. She also specializes in dry skin and allergic diseases, particularly atopic dermatitis, the causes and therapeutic options for hair loss, nail diseases, and skin cancer. Barbara Zegarska, MD, PhD is the author and co-author of over 100 scientific papers published in Polish and international scientific journals in the fields of dermatology, allergology, aesthetic dermatology, and skin cancer. She actively participates in national and international conferences, giving lectures. She is actively involved in scientific projects, organizing scientific conferences, interactive workshops, and health promotion campaigns. Barbara Zegarska, MD, PhD specializes in the treatment of various skin, hair, and nail conditions, as well as allergic skin diseases. She specializes in the use of modern methods of treating rosacea and acne vulgaris, including laser therapy, peels, phototherapy, and skincare treatments.
