- Dr. Mohamed Denguezli is a prominent Tunisian medical professional who serves as a Professor of Dermatology at the Sousse Faculty of Medicine. He is the former head of the Dermatology Department at the Farhat Hached Hospital in Sousse and holds prestigious leadership roles as the President of the Tunisian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (STDV) and the President of the College of Dermatology. Graduating from the Faculty of Medicine of Sousse in 1985, Dr. Denguezli is highly regarded internationally for his extensive research in clinical dermatology, genodermatosis, and pediatric dermatology. Notably, he led a collaborative medical team that spent over a decade discovering and characterizing a rare hereditary skin disorder classified by the WHO as Multiple Self-Healing Palmoplantar Carcinoma (MSPC), significantly advancing the global understanding of genetic skin cancers. Today, he balancing his academic and research contributions with active practice at his specialized clinic in Sousse.
