- Dr. Salem Qsel is a Libyan dermatologist, cosmetic dermatologist, and medical educator based in Zliten, Libya. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Tripoli in 2009 and achieved Board Certification in Dermatology from the Arab Board of Dermatology in 2023. Throughout his career, he has accumulated extensive clinical experience treating thousands of patients across major institutions, including Tripoli University Hospital, Medical Health Services Zliten, and Al Hilal Hospital, specializing in advanced treatments like cryotherapy, laser therapies, and managing bullous and psoriasis clinics. Since April 2025, he has served as a Lecturer of Dermatology at Asmarya Islamic University's Faculty of Medicine, where he helps develop modern hands-on training curricula. He is heavily involved in the local medical community as a member of the Libyan Society of Dermatology and Aesthetic, a supervisor for the Arab Board of Health Specialties training program, and a frequent chairperson and speaker at national and international medical conferences.
