Aslan Yürekli

Description: Associate Professor Aslan Yürekli, M.D., is a highly accomplished Turkish dermatologist currently serving at the University of Health Sciences, Gülhane Training and Research Hospital, Department of Dermatology and Venereology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Gülhane Military Medical Academy Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and later completed his residency training at the same institution in 2016, focusing his thesis on clinical and dermoscopic findings in androgenetic alopecia. A prominent figure in his field, Dr. Yürekli serves as the President of the Turkish Society of Dermatology for the 2025–2027 term, following a tenure as the society's General Secretary from 2022 to 2024. Throughout his career, his academic excellence and clinical innovations have earned him numerous honors, including five first-place awards for best oral presentations and research posters at major national dermatology summits and congresses between 2019 and 2023. Additionally, he holds a Turkish patent for an instrument designed for antiseptic applications and is a widely published researcher, contributing extensively to international and national journals on topics such as scabies, dermoscopy, and various skin conditions.
