Description

Dr. Mohamed El-Khalawany is a highly distinguished Egyptian professor and the Head of the Dermatology Department at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. After earning his medical degree and completing his advanced MD studies at Al-Azhar Medical School, he further expanded his training internationally at Graz University and secured an International Board Certificate (Diploma) in Dermatopathology. Alongside his primary academic role, he serves as a Professor of Dermatopathology at the Armed Forces College of Medicine (AFCM), holds the presidency of the Egyptian Foundation for Medical Development, and presides over the prominent Dermatology Master Conference (DMC). An active contributor to global dermatological sciences, Dr. El-Khalawany is heavily involved in clinical research, a regular speaker at major international congresses like Sharm Derma and MEIDAM, and specializes in advanced clinical treatments ranging from phototherapy to complex dermatologic surgical procedures.
